A mixed dance class for preschoolers where one parent attends with the child. Movement and rhythm are explored through fun activities with saris, silks, ribbons, instruments, balls and hoops, and elastics and fabrics. Beginner steps, balance and technique are also introduced and children need to be of a stable walking age.
What to Wear
Children can wear whatever clothes they want so long as clear movement is possible. For example, a leotard or skivvy and tights are fine as is a tutu with tights. Ballet shoes (ballet flats) are preferred - as they are the easiest to teach turns and other movements without slipping. Bare feet is also suitable. But footwear such as runners other shoes are not suitable as the children can trip or harm others.
