Term dance classes, film & performance rehearsals
Classes in Venus Bay/Tarwin Lower, Inverloch and Mirboo North
Class format: The focus of the class will be different this year.
Classical work for placement & posture will continue. Class time will include working on a creative piece with silk and ribbons - 'Shadows' - and a firedance/glowstick hip hop dance - 'When a Fire Starts to Burn' - both for the 2018 film and dance performance.
A great way to introduce children to dance, movement and rhythm. Beginner steps, balance and technique are introduced.
What to Wear:
All students need ballet shoes.
Leotard, tights and ballet flats are preferred (sheer mid-thigh skirt optional).
Pictures of preferred clothing are sampled in the preferred colour – mulberry – though it is fine in their class to wear any colour they want.
If you prefer not to purchase the full dance wear - a plain long sleeve or singlet strap closely-fitted top and convertible tights is ok.
